`Excuse me, may I ask where is Class 206?' a charming voice rang through the noisy hallways. Pupils who were busy talking and joking fell silent as they whipped their heads around to see two male students facing a girl with ponytails.
The girls there were instantly charmed by their perfectly shaped eyes and the crinkles at the corner of their lips when they smiled. But, amazingly, the girl they are talking to did not seem to see the handsomeness of their rugged faces.
`I am the monitor of that class, let me bring you guys there. My name is Yako. Yours?' she handed out her hand to shake.
`Ya Lun. You can call me Aaron,' the colder boy among both of them answered.
`Wang Zi,' the other boy stuttered. He seemed to be in shock that Yako wasn't charmed by him.
`Wang Zi? Isn't that `prince' in chinese?' Yako raised her eyebrows.
`Yeah, I AM a prince in the girls' eyes. Right?' he whipped around and grabbed a girl's hand and said, `Right, baby?'
He let go of her hand but not before other girls jostled to hold the poor girl's hand.
`Okay,' Yako said slowly as she observed the scene in front of her. `You can call me Ya Tou too.'
`Ya Tou? I liked it, precious.' Wang Zi tossed a heart-throbbing smile at her but Ya Tou merely raised her eyebrows.
`Let me bring you to our classroom,' she led both of them through a hallway of passages and stairs.
`She's cool, bro.' Wang Zi grinned at Aaron but he merely grunted.
`Lets go,' Ya Tou shouted from in front.
* In the classroom...*
`Ms Adeline, the two transferred students,' Ya Tou pointed at Aaron and Wang Zi who were both standing in the doorway. Aaron was listening to MP3 while observing the students. Wang Zi was busy chatting up a pretty girl who sat in the front of the class.
`Welcome, Ya Lun and Sheng Yi,' Ms Adeline glanced at the both of them.
`Sheng Yi?' Ya Tou came over, interested and curious. `Who is that? I thought he is Wang Zi? Oh, so you pretended you are a prince when you are just a plain Sheng Yi.'
`Miss, excuse me but my name is Wang Zi not Sheng Yi,' he leaned towards the teacher and grinned.
`Very well, Wang Zi. You and Aaron can sit at the second row there. Ya Tou and Gui Gui sit in front of you both,' she pointed at the empty seats.
`Gui Gui, which kind of a girl will have a name Gui Gui?' Wang Zi wrinkled his nose while Aaron strolled towards his assigned seat without complain.
He hear many girls exclaiming in low tones how suave he was, but he was just not interested in relationships. His previous relationships had all left him badly hurt and scarred and his heart had grew cold, never opening to another girl again.
Wang Zi walked down the row, winking at girls, making them gasped and blushed. Ya Tou shook her head and walked back to her own seat.
`Hey,' Wang Zi leant forward and whispered in Ya Tou's ear. `Where's the girl called Ghost? Whoooooo....' He made some ghost calls and laughed.
Ya Tou whipped around and glared at him, `First, her name is Gui Gui not Ghost. Second, she is my best friend so you better don't tease her if you know what's good for you.' She turned back to face the front.
`Where's Gui Gui? Ya Tou, do you know? She is rarely late but why isn't she here yet?' Ms Adeline glanced at Ya Tou.
`I am not sure but I think Gui Gui will be here....' before Ya Tou could complete her sentence, a girl rushed in and shouted, `Present!'
Wang Zi raised his head as he was always on the lookout for babes. His first thought was, `Wow, she sure is pretty!'
Even Aaron who were normally stolid lifted his head to look at the girl who made a such unexpected entrance. He WERE mildly surprised at the looks of this girl.
With everyone looking at her, Gui Gui blushed and hurried back to her seat. Wang Zi, who was sitting behind her leant forward and whispered, `You are pretty...'
